Taxonomy
Conogethes sp. 4 from Sabah, PHS. Two unnamed specimens in the Schulze Coll.; another poor specimen in the Oxford U.M.N.H. Coll..
Description
Another yellow species with blackish and dark fulvous-brown markings. Differs from C. clioalis Walker, 1859d: 549-550 by having termenal dashes, not spots, on HW and the FW postmedian fascia lineation is barely broken into spots. Like Conogethes sp. 2 it lacks the large distinct spot very obvious in the base of the HW of Conogethes evaxalis Walker 1859e: 995; and the small punctum of Conogethes sp. 3. See Conogethes sp. 6 which may be conspecific but that morphotype has slightly less distinct marginal marks.
