Taxonomy
Conogethes sp. 3. Specimens from Sabah, PHS in the Schulze Coll.,
Description
This bright yellow and black spotted Conogethes sp. is similar to Conogethes evaxalis Walker 1859e: 995. It has elongated spots and dusky shading marking the antemedian, median and post median fascia of the FW and more indistinctly the median fascia of the HW. Like Conogethes sp. 2 it lacks the large distinct spot very obvious in the base of the HW of Conogethes evaxalis; here it is a small punctum.
Schulze (2000) taxon #240 ‘Conogethes sp. 7’.
