Taxonomy
Conogethes sp. 2. A single un-named male specimen, from Sabah, PHS, in the Schulze Coll, from Sabah, PHS.
Description
This bright yellow and black spotted sp. is one of the less densely spotted Conogethes spp.. The wings are somewhat elongate. It is very similar to Conogethes nicippealis Walker, 1859e but unlike that sp. and C. ersealis Walker, 1859e, it lacks the distinct spot very obvious in the base of the HW cell present in most Conogethes spp.. Note the black tipped anal claspers. Schulze (2000) taxon #238 ‘Conogethes sp. 7’
