Taxonomy
Coptobasis sp. 13. A morphotype, nr. C. lunalis Guenée, 1854, from Sabah, DVCA.
Description
A small dark brown sp. A purple irridescence is seen at certain angles. It has indistinct dark postmedian lines on the FW & HW and a distinct pale crescentic FW stigma. The antennae are filliform with a swollen basal segment. The palpi appear distinctly swollen and divergent. Tmw/kitching taxon #1681. Very similar to Coptobasis sp. 9 but smaller and darker brown and the wing surface is mooth rather than ridged.
