Taxonomy
The type locality of Botys poeasalis Walker, 1859: 717 is Sarawak. The male holotype collected by A.R. Wallace is type #1012 in the Oxford U.M.N.H.

Description
An ochreous and orange sp. with distinctive silvery scale patches especially on wing margins. Pagyda lustralis Snellen, 1890: 615 is similar but has an overall silvery sheen as well as a silvery sub marginal area. See Pagyda sp. 1 and Daulia afralis Walker 1859. The males have the elongated abdomen typical of Pagyda spp.
