Taxonomy
Discothyris sp. 1 nr. D. vestigialis Snellen, 1890 of which it may be a ssp. A specimen from Sabah, Mt. Kinabalu in the Accessions of the MFNH Berlin.
Description
This is similar to D. vestigialis but is slightly smaller and has much more distinct black spots and brown patches. The abdomen has pale intersegmental rings and has large dark brown dorsal patches basally.
