Taxonomy
Dichocrocis sp. 4. A male specimen in BMNH near to Astura clytusalis Walker, 1859d: 550 from Indonesia (Java).
Description
A mainly yellow morphotype with broad black-brown lineation. The yellow abdomen of this male has a dark patch and a bush of golden scale hairs at the tip. D. clytusalis (Walker, 1859d: 550) is a very similar yellow sp. with broad black-brown lineation on the FW at post-median and ante-median locations but the lines are slightly less bold and wide. This morphotype may be a var. of D. clytusalis but note that sp. has only been reported from Australia and New Guinea.
Dichocrocis sp. 5 lacks the large discocellular spot.
Note both this morphotype and D. clytusalis lack the small punctal spot, proximal and close to the discal spot of the FW. This spot is present in D. bilinealis but is missing in the D. frenatalis holotype.
