Like all Dausara spp. the wings are silvery white with broad purple wing margins. It closely resembles D. chiangmai Yoshiyasu, 1995: 96 Figs 1B, 4-5, 7C-D, 8B, E). In these two sp. the PML is relatively smooth (slightly undulating) whereas the PML in D. marginalis and latiterminalis is distinctly irregular.
The HW tornus of the male is ‘much protruded’ and it has narrower pale FW fascia compared with the female.
The abdomen is blue grey with paler sides, as is the thorax which laterally, is covered by long white tegulae.
