Taxonomy
Cymoriza irrectalis Guenée 1854: 272, pl. 9, fig. 4 [a ? Coll. Gn.] is from the East Indies? [Indes orientales?].
He writes 'On me l'a donnée comme provenant des Indes orientales. Je l'aurais crue americainé. Un [male] un [female] Coll. Gn.'
[I was given it as coming from the East Indies. I would have thought it American. A ? a ? Coll. Gn.]'
Treated as Neurophyseta in Globiz.
Description
Both wings are coarsely patterned in fulvous brown anddark brown on a white background. The wings have broad white lines crossing at the antemedian, postmedian and subtermenal positions. The FW has small pale centred spots in the discocellular area. Thorax brown with and head abdomen fuscous. Probably not Borneo.
