Cydalima sp. 1

Taxonomy

Cydalima sp. 1 is a worn, unnamed female morphotype nr. Cydalima diaphanalis Walker from Sabah (PHS) in the Schulze Coll.

Description

Apart from the pale brown subcostal area the wings are almost transparent and un-marked. The males have black anal hair pencils. When the abdomen is unworn it is covered by silver scales. Unlike Cydalima vitrealis Rossi and most Cydalima spp., it lacks any subcostal and termenal spots.
