Taxonomy
Coptobasis sp. 17. Unamed specimens from Sabah DVFC in the SLS Coll.
Description
A fairly large sp. with elongate FW. Pale shining brown with faint irridescent colours but virtually no definite markings. The FW has a faint small stigma and a slightly paler postmedian fascia which does not extend to the rear of the wing. The HW has a few ill-defined darker patches. UnS of the neck and thorax is a pale fawn pectus. Coptobasis sp. 2 is similar but more shiny and pinkish. tmw/kitching taxon #624.
