A handsome purple species with orange termenae with tiny black neural punctae and some dull orange diffused patches near the FW apex. The FW has an incomplete post-median line starting at the costa. There is a distinct, elongate, black mark in the FW cell which may have a glandular function. It marks the start of a faint blackish line that extends from subcosta to inner posterior margin. The HW has a strong post-median fascia comprising a bluntly serrate black line with an adjacent pale white band proximal to it. The head and thorax are purplish with pale intersegmental bands on the abdomen. The forelegs are fulvous with white tibia & tarsi.
