Aetholix sp. 1 is an unnamed morphotype near A. flavibasalis Guenée, 1854 in the BMNH, Schulze & FRC (Sepilok) colls. Taxon P123 in the BRL RIS trap morphoseries in the HSB Coll.
Description
Aetholix sp. 1 is an unnamed morphotype near A. flavibasalis Guenée, 1854 in the NHM , Schulze & FRC (Sepilok) colls. Taxon P123 in the BRL RIS trap morphoseries in the HSB Coll.
This is slightly different from Aetholix flavibasalis Guenée. The basal area has less orange and the FW median white band is slightly wider subcostally continuing faintly to the inner margin. There is a spot on the HW submedian line which is curved. The HW median band has two small bulges on its postmedian margin. Schulze (2000) taxon #220.
