Taxonomy
Trichophysetis sp. 13 a single unnamed morphotype from Sabah (PHS) in the Schulze Coll.
Generic placement uncertain.
A few specimens of these brown speckled morphotypes have been seen from parts of SE Asia. Here they are informally grouped into the ‘Brown speckled Trichophysetis’ group.
Description
A medim sized but delicate looking morphotype. The body and both wings are an unmarked brown but the brown venation is distinctive. It has less dark speckling on the wings than Trichophysetis sp. 11. Schulze (2000) taxon #671, ‘Pyraustinae sp 87’.
