Taxonomy
Trichophysetis sp. 1 is represented by an unnamed morphotypes from Sabah in the ITBC Borneensis Coll. and a specimen leg. C. Hauser from Sabah PHS in the Schulze Coll.
Generic placement uncertain.
The generic concepts represented by Trichophysetis (Meyrick 1884: 287) & Hendecasis Hampson, (1896: 140) are uncertain.
Description
A small mainly pale brown sp. with an elongated abdomen. The wings are crossed by curved diffuse darker brown ante-median and post-median lines. Distally the HW a darker grey brown. Trichophysetis sp. 2 is very similar in patterning but the FW post median line is almost straight and on the HW it is angled centrally. Schulze (2000) ‘Spilomelini sp. 1’ taxon #259.
