Taxonomy
The paratype of Transeromene shafferi ‘Schouten in prep 1992’.*, is in the BMNH TL Sabah, Gunung Monkobo.
Description
A small species with most of the FW grey and black speckled but devoid of markings. There is a fulvous patch at the apex and basal and antemedian fulvous and black bands. There are a few indistinct black spots near the tornus. The HW is a pale grey brown suffused with black towards the margin.
