Taxonomy
The holotype of Salbia althealis Walker, 1859c: 361 is from Sarawak. comb. n. to Thliptoceras Warren, 1890 [in Swinhoe 1890b: 274], Note Munroe uses altheale in his new comb. (Munroe 1967: 723).
Description
An ochreous species with very few markings but not likely to be easily confused. The FW has a series of darker small dots marking a post median fascia. There is a narrow darker brownish termenal line and the pale fringes end greyish. The HW is similar but even less distinctly marked. T. impube (Zhang et al. 2014: 267 (key), 275-276, 285, figs 14, 28, 29, 38, 45) is very similar but has a faint FW stigma and twin termenal lines.
