Taxonomy
Paratype figured; Sumatra, Barisan Range, Lebong Tandai. The male holotype of Telchines lepides Whalley, 1976 from Sumatra, (Lebong Tandai) is in the NHM (Mi7298) (Whalley, 1976:82, fig’d).
Description
A robust moth with orange-buff wings with red-brown reticulation and venation. There is usually a small orbicular stigma but it may be indistinct, as in the illustrated paratype. The transverse FW line points at, and then curves away from, the FW apex. Females unknown to Whalley (1976).
