Taxonomy
The holotype, by original designation, of Strepsinoma amaura Meyrick, 1897a: 86, is in the BMNH. The TL of the two type specimens is Lesser Sunda Islands, Sambawa [Sumbawa] and S. E. Borneo.
It is the TS of Strepsinoma Meyrick, (Meyrick 1897a: 85-86).
Description
The moth is a rather dull dark grey with paler markings. It is rather atypical of most other Strepsinoma spp. which are much better marked with obvious fulvous brown and white fasciation. The species is very poorly known.
