Taxonomy
Holotype; Philippines, Mindanao, Kolambugan. The holotype of Brixia plinthochroa West, 1932:9 from the Philippines (Mindanao, Kolambugan) is in the NHM (Mi7394).
Description
A small to medium sized rich red-brown species with mottling of the FW and a darker spot near the front margin of the HW. Note the very small black spots where the HW veins meet the margin. It is similar to the typical form of R. salmo Warren, 1904 but has a much more mottled appearance with a large darker spot near the HW costa.
