Taxonomy

Pyrausta sp. 3 is an unnamed morphotype found within a series of Pyrausta [Ategumia] euryphaea Meyrick, 1932: 318 in the BMNH.

Description

A bright orange sp. with metallic purplish terminal fasciae. The patterning is superficially similar to some of the metallic scaled Hydriris spp.. A similar sp. seen in Sabah.
