Taxonomy
C. J. Brooks Specimen #2277; Sarawak, Bidi. The female holotype of Pharambara quadrovata (Warren 1896c: 343) from East Timor (Oinainisa) and a paratype from Brunei are in the NHM (Mi7352).

Description
A large indistinctly marked, pale silky fawn species with a distinct diagonal cream median band on the HW. It also often has a short black bar or triangle between M1& M2 (RTS:132). . Very similar to P.marginepunctalis but that is much smaller and lacks the pale median band on the HW.
Life History
Meyrick, (1934:443) records the holotype of P. leucoschista [quadrovata] as originating from a twig-boring larva in Glochidion sp. (Euphorbiaceae).
