Taxonomy
Same specimen as figured in RTS from Brunei. The holotype of Pyralis inductalis Walker, [1866] 1865:1525 from Seram is in the OUMNH.

Description
A coarsely reticulate species with brown and dark brown and pale chequering. The FW apex has a small black spot in a pale patch. There are indications of a median fascia on the FW and an antemedian fascia on the HW. The HW has a small square black spot near the front and a few small elongate black marks.
