Taxonomy

Paratalanta sp. 1 is an unnamed morphotype in the SLS Coll. Two specimens from Sabah (Danum Valley Conservation Area, W5 & W8).

Description

This morphotype falls into the group described in Zhang et al. 2014 a male with a prominent subtermenal band. A distinctive pale yellow and purple-brown sp. Superficially similar to Botyodes ussurialis Bremer, 1864 : 68, pl. 6, fig. 6. (TL Siberia, Amur (Ussuri)).
