Taxonomy

Pagyda sp. 2. An unnamed morphotype in the MfNH Berlin.

Description

A small sp. with a purplish sheen. This is very similar to P. pullalis Swinhoe, 1903: 510-511, but the FW postmedian line runs diagonally from the costa and joins to the median line at an acute angle forming a ‘y’ and a triangle on the subcosta. The subtermenal line of the HW is narrower than in P. salvalis Walker, 1859: 487.
