Taxonomy
The holoype of Asopia eryxalis Walker, 1859: 371 from Sri Lanka is in the BMNH;
- syn. Botys velatalis Snellen, 1892: 63 Pl. 5 fig. 4. TL Indonesia, Sumatra, Ringkiang Loeloes; Silago. The male lectotype is in RMNH Leiden;
- syn. Streptobela crocobaphes Turner, 1937: 81, TL Australia (Kuranda). Syn. n. (Shaffer et al., 1996).
Description
A small orange sp. with darker submarginal lines and a brownish suffusion on the central area of both wings.
