Taxonomy
Sabah, DVCA, West Trail, W8. Hypolamprus sp. 3. Two specimens from the SLS Coll. and the HSB Coll. (morphotype P186 from BRL).
Description
This pink-brown specimen has a distinct coarse reticulation on the wings. There is an angled line delineating the FW apex which has three small black spots. The FW has an indistinct ‘x’-shaped median fascia and a small dark patch in the orbicular area. The line at the FW tip forks but differs from H.bracteata in shape.
Similar Species
Similar to Hypolamprus bracteata and H. bastialis. See also Hypolamprus sp. 8. All the specimens come from the DVCA.
