Taxonomy
Sumatra, Prapat, Hwy III. Hypolamprus sp. 20 is a single unnamed specimen in the NHM (Mi7375).
Description
This is a species with a distinctive patterning consisting of patches of chestnut brown and paler areas covered by a reticulated pattern. The extremely falcate FW is dark basally and this colour extends irregularly along the Costa.
Similar Species
This is similar to H. illustrata and H. ocellipennis but the distribution of the dark patches and the reticulate patterning is different. See also Hypolamprus spp. 2 and 19.
