Taxonomy
Indonesia, Sumatra, Aek Tarum. The holotype of Banisia illustrata Warren, 1908:326 is from G. Tahan, W. Malaysia, ms comb. n. to Hypolamprus (Shaffer, 1992 LepIndex).
Description
A species with a dark chestnut brown colouring with paler areas covered by a reticulated pattern. The FW base is dark and this extends irregularly along the costa. This is similar to Hypolamprus sp. 19 but the distribution of the dark patches and the reticulate patterning is different.
