Taxonomy
Specimen imaged is from W. Malaysia, GTE. The holotype of Morova angulalis Moore, [1888] 1887:214 is from Burma [Myanmar] (Rangoon).
Description
A distinctive species with scalloped wings. The colour is red-brown with a grey sheen and small black spots. The margins have a white fringe with marginal black shading. The Un is similar but the Un HW has groups of white scales.
Similar Species
Could be confused with Picrostomastis subrosealis Leech, 1889 (198) which has similar colouration and slightly scalloped wings but the HW shape is completely different (RTS: 134). See also Hypolamprus sp. 15 which may be a ssp.
