The co-type from Sikkim (illustrated) has a pronounced dark orbicular blotch on the chestnut brown FW. Some specimens from Taiwan lack the dark blotching and are much brighter orange brown with a distinct yellowish orange patch near the FW tip. All specimens seen from Borneo (e.g. Schulze (2000) taxon #276) lack the dark blotching and most are rather dull brown and indistinctly marked (Schulze (2000) taxon #522). HSB-taxon P90 in the BRL RIS trap, morphoseries. These latter morphotypes may not be conspecific.
