Taxonomy
W. Malaysia, GTE. Herdonia sp. 1 is an unnamed specimen from GTE in the HSB Coll.
Description
Male antennae narrowly laminate. Similar to Herdonia sp. 2 but the wing shape is different (FW not falcate, termen rounded) and the patterning is subtly different. FW with typical Herdonia patterning superficially similar to H. thielei(141). FW with a greyish translucent patch across the cell and a small square brown patch near the distal part of the termen. The HW has a small faintly strigillate red-brown basal fascia.
