Taxonomy
Sabah. Danum Valley, DVCA, W1. The male holotype of Herdonia incrassata Inoue, 2001: 305 & figs. from Brunei, (Sg. Rampayoh) is in the NHM (Mi7448). Female unknown.
Description
The FW is mainly pale fawn with a square brown patch near the tornus. The HW has brown submarginal and median bands and a small brown subbasal area. Twin brown parallel double lines frame a paler median fascia band and these lines diverge slightly as they approach the inner margin. Face dark grey-brown, much darker than H. hainanensis Inoue, 2001 and H. quadrilinea Inoue 2001. Antennal lamellae as long or slightly longer than the shaft diameter. There is a brown reticulate patch near the HW base.
