Description
FW with typical Herdonia patterning with brown submarginal and median bands and a small brown basal patch and subbasal line on the HW. This species is part of a group containing H. osacesalis, H. sundana, H. hainanensis Inoue 1993, H. approximata and H. candida Gaede 1932:745, but can be distinguished by its antennae being more slender with each lamella nearly quadrate. Its face is brownish grey with a white lower half. The size is similar to H. approximata but the FW red-brown shading near the termen is thicker and broader.
