Taxonomy
Hendecasis sp. 5. An unnamed specimen from Sabah, DVFC, in the SLS Coll. Superficially similar to Hendecasis (Trichophysetis) umbrifusalis (Hampson, 1912a: 1259, pl.G , fig. 41.).
Description
A silky sp. mainly pale pink-white but the FW shades to fuscous near the apex. The FW has twin postmedian lines the inner of which has two or three dark spots sub-costally HW with faint twin curving median and submedian lines with dark patches towards the inner margin. The FW has an elegant purplish subtermenal band or patch extending to the tornus, but wider towards the apex. Very similar to Hendecasis umbrifusalis Hampson, 1912a but lacking the three dark spots near the base of the FW. The body is mainly pale but has darker vague banding on the abdomen corresponding to the wing fasciae.
