The generic concepts represented by Trichophysetis (Meyrick 1884: 287) and Hendecasis Hampson, (1896: 140) are uncertain.
Description
A very distinctive delicate pale cream and reddish suffused moth. The wing shape and lineation distinguish it. The Jasmine Budworm. P312 In the HSB BRL morphoseries. Schulze (2000) Taxon #661. Differs from Hendecasis sp. 1 and H. Hampsoni which have pointed FW apices.
Life History
The ‘jasmine budworm’. A pest of Jasminum sambac and in fruits of J. meyeri-johannis & J. fluminense (Oleaceae) (Copeland et al., 2004).
