Description
The bifalcate FW is predominately purplish grey with orange patches, notably at the base, apex and centrally from the costa. A pale line edged in dark grey loops distally from the median position on the costa then conects subtermenally to the hind margin proximally to the tornus. A similar line crosses the wing antemedially turning basally at the subcosta and the hind margin. There are two dark spots on the posterior of the termen which easily distinguish it from the similar G. copernici The same specimen as illustrated in RTS, (1994 pl. 27, fig.6) is illustrated here.
