Taxonomy
The holotype of Mixophyla xanthocasis Meyrick, 1897c: 81, fig. 1 is from New Guinea.
Description
This morphotype is an unnamed Gargela series in the BMNH with a single sub-termenal black spot which matches exactly the description of G. xanthocasis in Meyrick, (1897c: 81, Fig1).
