Gargela sp. 4. An un-named sp. nr. Zebronia renatusalis Walker, 1859: 484, in the BMNH.
Description
FW slightly more cream than the silvery white of many Gargela spp. With two angular dark lines at the median and post-median positions. The veins are highlighted with yellow near the termen. There is a small dark patch sub-marginally above the tornus. The median line dilates at the anterior margin forming a dark triangular blotch. The HW is dark grey darker shaded to the termen and the abdomen is also dark. It contrasts with shining white tegulae Note the single continuous black line extending on the margin from the apex to the middle of the wing termen. Compare with Gargela sp. 2, 3 & 5 which have very similar FW markings but differ in detailes of line shapes and intensity of markings. See G. renatusalis (Walker, 1859) which is similar but has a FW with an extensive dark blotch anteriorly near its basal angle.
