Description
A bright fulvous species with a large black ‘figure of eight’ shaped discocellular spot. Hampson (1896: 374 pl. 201) is really only useful for the neuration pattern as is the same figure in Hampson (1899: 173, fig 79). The series of postmedial interneural black streaks is the only feature discernable on those small text figs. Hampson illustrates the head and mentions that third joint of palpus is black and the base of FW costa is black. A marginal black line is said to extend round the FW apex. This feature may be discerned on the Bornean specimen at the base of the ochreous cillia. There appears to be very few records of this taxon.
