Eschata sp. 3 an unnamed morphotype from W. Malaysia (GTE) in the BMNH & HSB-Colls.

Description

A distinctive golden-brown and pinkish sp.. The FW has a scattering of longer black scales and a few silvery scales on its irregularly scalloped termen which form an irregular silvery white subtermenal band which has three black punctae, one apically and a pair towards the middle. There is thin, coarsley serate, post median line and a diffuse white median streak extending from the wing base toward the median area. The HW is mainly silvery white distally but with chestnut brown scales which are dominant in the basal area where they form a hairy inner margin. The HW fringe is shining white. The head thorax and abdomen are mainly dark chestnut brown but the top of the head is whitish.
