Description
The Un of the FW of this medium to large species has a gold suffusion near the costa. See RTS. The species is rather variable and it may have single or double pre-apical lines. The body is silver scaled with darker cross bandings when fresh, but becomes brown. As it resembles several possibly unnamed Epaena morphotypes, the re-examination of this species may be appropriate. The females have a marginally greater wingspan than the males but their bodies are much longer.
