Taxonomy
Ecpyrrhorrhoe sp. 1. A specimen in the RMNH (Leiden) from Kalimantan Timur (Gunung Lumut Protection Forest) See van Tol (2006).
Description
A pale yellow orange species with transverse lines on both wings and a moderately elongate abdomen. It is very similar to Pionea [Ecpyrrhorrhoe] puralis South, 1901: 492. See some Pagyda spp.
This is a specimen DNA barcoded in BOLD: The Barcode of Life Data System (Sample ID RMNH INS #19592) as Loxostege ochrealis.
Other, similar specimens have been DNA barcoded BOLD (Sample IDs RMNH INS #19590 & #19587) also as Loxostege ochrealis.
