Taxonomy
Upper Burma [Myanmar]. Dysodia sp. 9 is an unnamed series near to D. raja the NHM (Mi7283).
Description
Probably a ssp. of D. raja, the markings are practically identical but the FW costa is lighter coloured. It is also slightly larger and a duller red-brown with slightly smaller fenestrae in the HW than the nominate subspecies. There is a brown stripe across the base of the abdomen. A specimen label says ‘D. inaequalis Walker’. This name has not been traced and is probably a ms. name.
