Description
A black and yellow sp. Both wings with broad transverse brown post-median and antemedian fasciae and a large spot in the FW cell. The termenae of both wings have broad brown subtermenal areas. and the FW has a small t-shaped spot basally on the subcosta. It has a small punctal spot proximal and close to the discal spot of the FW. Schulze (2000) Taxon #692. The small punctal spot is present in D. bilinealis but is missing in both the D. frenatalis holotype and the D. pandamalis holotype which also has discontinuous bands. Similar to Dichocrocis sp. 16. Compare with Dichocrocis frenatalis. See Dichocrocis sp. 16.
Life History
This sp. seems to be one of several similar spp. reported from Mangrove woodland both in Sabah and Singapore.
