Taxonomy
The male holotype of Dichocrocis actinialis Hampson, 1898: 690 from India (Khasia Hills) is in the BMNH.
Description
A bright yellow sp. with complex blackish linear markings on the FW and three dark lines on the HW. The head, thorax and abdomen are yellow with the thorax having long tegulae and black spots. Abdomen with a pair of black spots on basal segment; dorsal black bands on medial segments and a black patch on the tip. The simple antenae are rather stout tapering gradually to the tip.
