Confused in the past with C. trapezalis (Guenée 1854) from Africa, Wang & Spiedel (2000: 181).
Description
This species is very like Cnaphalocrocis poeyalis but note the distinct short median line on the HW which joins the post median line. Wingspan 17-20mm. See Wang & Spiedel (2000): 181.
Life History
The larva probably feeds on the leaves of grasses (Poaceae).
