Cirrhochrista sp. 7. Specimens in the Schulze & HSB Colls. Although superficially similar to some C. spissalis group spp. we consider it with the C. kosemponialis group of spp.

The dark brown FW is relatively unmarked except for the termenae which is narrowly fulvous. Subtermenally there is a darker greyish band liberally dotted with metallic grey scales which extend around the apex and onto the costa as in most of the C. kosemponialis group spp.. The HW is silky white with a diffuse greyish patch towards the tornus. The thorax and abdomen are brown, paler underneath the base of the abdomen is white laterally. The brown palpi, as in most Cirrhochrista spp are very elongate with darker tips. This may be an dark/obscure var. of C bracteolalis Schulze (2000) taxon #039 as ‘C bracteolalis’.
