Cirrhochrista sp. 4. an unnamed morphotype in the BMNH from West Sumatra, Batang, Proepoe.

Description

This species is superficially very similar to C. fumipalpis Felder & Rogenhöfer 1874 [1875] with white wings The FW is traversed by pale brown lineation at the antemedian, median and post median positions. The fulvous orange FW costa has orange triangles marking the origin of the antemedian, median and post-median lines. These are separated from the orange costa by the deep brown subcosta vein. There is a brown termenal line thicker on the forewing with an orange line at the base of the cillia. It can be distinguished from Cirrhochrista fumipalpis, C. kosemponialis and C. mnesidora by having an extra white area in the median fascia. Not recorded from Borneo
