Description
A purple brown species. With little patterning except indistinct post-median lines. The FW has two spots in the FW cell the distal one is larger and slightly elongate. Schulze (2000) taxon #950 ‘Spilomelinae sp. 158’ Although somewhat different in patterning from the male Ceratarcha umbrosa Swinhoe it may be a dark var. of the sp. Similar to Ceratarcha spp. 1, 3 & 4.
